Young 5s

Monday-Thursday from 8am-3pm during the school year.

This program is designed for students who need a bit of extra time before starting kindergarten. A typical young 5 student often is academically ready for kindergarten but may need to hone their social skills before being completely ready for the structure of a full week of school. Children who will turn 5 between September 1 and December 1 are also a good fit for this program, especially if they have already completed a year or two of preschool.

As part of this unique program, students face similar curriculum challenges as our kindergarten students, but in a much more play based atmosphere. Helping the students grow socially and emotional is an important emphasis of this program.
